American White Pelican, White Egret and Double-crested Cormorants at Crump Lake, Warner Valley, Oregon

Driving up the Warner Valley (south-central Oregon) on our way to the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge, we pass one of the many lakes and wetlands known collectively as the Warner Lakes. This is a remote area, abundant with wildlife. Resident birds and migrant waterfowl are congregating peacefully on a promontory into Crump Lake.
